For months now Mikaela has been bugging me to get her a little bunny. So I discussed the situation with Adrian and suggested that maybe she could get one for christmas. I did a bit of research on the net and found that they are easy pets to look after and are very child friendly. So it was decided that 'Santa' would give her one for christmas. On christmas eve, Charli and I drove over the other side of town to pick of two little bunnies (the bunnies are mini lops, which means they don't grow up to be very big and have cute long ears that hang down the sides of their heads). We then secretly put them safely away in a hutch hidden in the back yard.
Come christmas morning, Mikaela found a little bunny under the christmas tree. To say that she was excited is an understatement! "This is the best day of my life!" are the exact words :) Mikaela ended up calling her bunny 'Puff Ball' (because it looks like a ball of fluff) and Charli called her bunny 'Nugget'. I must say they are the cutest little things! They just sit on your lap and let you pat them. Sooo cute!
